In New York, January of 1938 Mary was born. The oldest of 5 children.

She married at 18, had a daughter, lost a son & divorced very young.

Mary never got remarried and was an icon of strength and female independence in her family's life. There was nothing Grams wouldn't do for her grandkids or the ones she loved. She loved her dog Chance unconditionally & they were best friends for 15 amazing years.

Mary has only worn black clothing since 1983. A true style icon.	Grams was always a heavy smoker until one day she quit cold turkey!	She was always fixing her hair in rollers or curling it perfectly.
Grams used to love driving and she would take us anywhere.	Full of sass & unafraid to speak her mind. Mary has that NY attitude.	Patsy Cline & Elvis are her favorite musicians & she's always down to dance.
